Eric Holder, accused in the shooting death of Grammy-nominated rapper Nipsey Huss, pleaded guilty Wednesday to first-degree murder, CBS Los Angeles reported. The jury deliberated for about 6 hours before reaching its verdict.
According to the Associated Press, Holder, 32, was charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder because two bystanders were hit by gunfire — but a jury found him guilty of two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter.

McKinney said the pair had an argument — the AP reported that Hussell had heard that Holder was a snitch and wanted to “clear it up.” The deputy district attorney said the pair, along with two of Hussl’s friends, had a “chilling conversation” with Holder before the attack, noting that Hussl had no security with him when he visited his store.

Meanwhile, Holder’s attorney, Aaron Johnson, told the jury that Husley’s killing was not planned and that Holder did not intend to shoot the two bystanders. He blamed the attack on a “warm feeling,” the AP reported.
