UPCLOSE WITH MISTA BLAISE (@MistaBlaise)

Late in the dying months of the year 2002 a young legend came to be aware of the his special gifts that would one day be his mark of remembrance in the great books of music history . This gift was music. Taking up the ''call'' professionally in 2005, Mista Blaise still remembers his first demo songs recorded in a studio in Achimota and produced by Jah son with fondness, he says ''i still love those songs and think they may yet be my best work so far ''.
Mista Blaise is a versatile Ghanaian songwriter and singer having written and featured on songs with other artiste like Naa of mentor fame, Nana Fremaa of keshie3 fame and a host of other talented artistes, choosing to brand his style of music as Afro pop, Mista Blaise believes that no matter what genre of music there is in the mother land you are bound to find genetic elements of the world famous highlife music which Ghana is originally noted for, also of which he is very proud.
Altogether since 2005 Mista Blaise has recorded a total of three albums out of which one was a collaboration and a multiple number of features  as an underground artiste, Songs on these albums come in diverse genres of music like hiplife, reggae, dancehall, afropop and R&B. Although mainly an afropop artiste Mista Blaise remains a versatile artiste and draws inspiration from diverse types of music.

Currently with Wan Vision entertainment, Mista Blaise is in the studio working on releasing two hot singles titled ''follow me'' which features the fast rising Nigerian star E fine and produced by Cuzy of OTHER ONE fame and ''slow motion'' which is a solo effort produced by the avant garde and monstrously talented DANNY BEATZ. . '' i just can`t wait for Ghanaians to experience and appreciate my music its been a long haul putting this music out there and i know the world will enjoy it as i do'' - Mista Blaise.

The African music scene is very ripe and Mista Blaise is ready to take a bite, the only problem is this young man is an Oliver and wants more than just Africa, he wants a piece of the world and with hard core critics banging their heads to his ''follow me'' tune already, we dare say the world is His for the taking. Ghana u can be proud for a star is born and about to take the world by storm shining in red gold  and green!
